For the trades

Built for
the trades.

You have enough to manage. The scrap shouldn’t be part of it.

We built this business on big contractor accounts. Small and mid-size shops get run exactly the same way — same prices, same crew, same speed.

Since 1994

Thirty years
on the scale.

Jeffrey Sissons opened the business in Deer Park, New York in 1994 and set the rule we still run on: pay a fair price, grade it honestly, and treat the guy with a pickup truck the same as the guy with a fleet.

The operation moved about twenty miles west to Westbury. In 2011 we opened DPR Scrap Metal as a dedicated ferrous yard — heavy iron got a home of its own, and the non-ferrous side stayed sharp on grading.

Still local. Still independent. Still known for paying what we say we’ll pay.
